It is strongly recommended that you do NOT use Joomla as an Email Marketing List Manager, or you may innadvertently employ practices that end up getting your website's IP address blacklisted for spamming. The definition of Spam is in the eye of the receiver and getting on block lists has nothing to do with technical compliance with CANSpam or any other legislation.
