Display advertising lets you reach potential customers much earlier in the buying cycle than search marketing and helps you build brand awareness and familiarity. For example your ads could be set to show on a website based in the United States, but only to people visiting that website from Sydney, so you never need pay to reach people who aren't potential customers.
